Basically, we have the exact amount of days left prior to our wedding day. What to tell? What to Update? Well, perhaps on how everything goes/went so far?

I can say the preparation is 75% done. I'm left with my wedding dress, which just changed from another "beads expert" few days back. Simply because, my mom herself can't wait for the "bead expert" she choose herself. Well, being an OCD Bride to be like me, of course i went crazy listening to the issue -___-

While on the other hand, today another issue comes out. House renovation issue, we can't even make sure whether the house can be done before December 25th or not. So, i made a deal with my mum if the house is not ready on the 25th later, I'm going to called of the engagement ceremony and just straight to wedding day on January,26th. That's it. And, of course a lot of dramas happened in between, I even cried.


I don't know whether it's me or everyone also is facing the same kind of problems when The Day just around the corner?

Well, Kamil and I been praying very hard for Allah to ease our journey to become husband and wife, and hoping that inshaAllah everything goes well as we've planned.

Sleepless nights

Well, hello there !

Here I am again, blogging and just wanting to share my unsynchronized thoughts and ideas. I know we should've enjoy the journey of preparing the big day of our lives. But then again, the existence of sense of worriness of whether or not that big day turn out as what we expected it to be or not, haunted most of bride to be out there. Am I right? 

This whole week, I can't sleep well almost every nights? Dreaming about forgetting bringing my inner for my wedding dress as my wedding dress turn out from a "see through" material and mind you I did not put any lining to it? Hmmppph. Not only that, feeling asleep at first and turn out to stay awake at 2.00 am and 3.00 am in the morning just layan-ing whatever comes through my mind (in which is actually the same thing I wanted to execute for the Big Day). Sometimes also, I turn out wiping my few tears coming out from my eyes without any valid reasons such as, I'm afraid I can't marry him, I'm afraid we're not meant for each other and lots of other stupid stuffs. Well, not that I am not expecting that wedding preparation would consume lots of your energy mentally and physically. 

While on the other hand, Kamil have different feelings towards all these wedding thingy. He get all lovey dovey even more -___- everyday expressing all romantic words and gestures to me. Sometimes, got scolded by me too when I don't know where to express 

Anyway, I wish and pray for the smooth and easy journey toward sour wedding preparation

My Wedding Shoes !

Went out with my sister to do our last minute Raya Preparation last few days, but end up buying my Solemnization Shoes ! It was exactly how I dreamt of my wedding shoes would be :) And, my mom, my sister and Kamil also in love to the shoes as much as I do !

But, It is not from the Red Sole line okay. Belum mampu ! 

Anyway, Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir dan Batin :) InshaAllah, next Raya i'll be someone's wife :)

The Baju

In total we have 219 days left before our BIG DAY ! Actually the times move quite fast, no? I can say that our preparation is 35% done. Andd another 65% needed to be settled within these 219 days, I am really hoping that we can manage our time well and able to settle 95% of the preparations at least 1 week prior to the wedding day. Last week, we managed to sent our Solemnization Outfits last week to the same tailor for our engagement outfits, however the cost for our nikah's outfit (read: my nikah outfit) can be considered quite high for a budget pengantin like us. But, when the tailor mentioned the price I just look at him and he said, "as long as you're happy sayang.." Aawwww.. yeaaahh he made me want to cry tapi because we were in a public place so I have to tahan some more laa.. 

Our nikah's outfit is quite simple (for us) and we're happy to choose that kind of outfit, and that's what we're aiming for throughout this wedding preparations aren't we? A simple and affordable (for us) wedding. Why I put the word "for us" in a bracket? Because I believe, each and everyone of us have our own definition of simple and affordable and whatnots. Simple to me might not be simple to your eyes, and affordable to you might not match my pocket. But, please don't judge because the sole purpose of this blog is as simple as SHARING ! So this is actually the inspiration I got for my nikah's outfit

Of course the baju won't be as fantastic as these two. Mind you, my budget is normal only andd I don't have that figure to rock these kind of dresses and last but not least my tailor is not a fashion designer.. hehehe. But basically, I will wore a modern Baju Kurung (Cotton Lace + Chiffon) in white colour and Kamil will be wearing a white baju melayu. My veil would be made of course by me because I'm cheapskate like that and I don't like spending RM 200 - RM 300 for a head accessories including tudung and all. Even my nikah tudung cost me just RM 15 only and the most important thing is I'm happy with that :) 

So the only things left for nikah are

Since, the one which are still in pending column, actually are quite simple things la for me I think we can finish them slowly within these 2 months. Buttt there's one thing I can't make up my mind yet and it is veryyy veryyy IMPORTANT which is my reception dress. Since Kamil already made up his mind looongg timeee agoo that he'll be wearing a full suit (in brown) during the reception at my place. We don't really have concept or themes but then, for the reception I want it to be slightly modern and simple (again!) and casual like that. So, the suit that he'll be wearing also the kind of casual casual one laaa.. not the tuxedo style and whatsoever.

So, I can't stop thinking on what type of baju I really want to wear to match and make me feel pretty standing and sitting next to him for 4 hours that day? Hahahaha. Perhaps more than 4 hours right? For engagement and Nikah i dah tempah two baju kurung modern already, so no more Baju Kurung lah. Here are some of the designs yang catch my taste jugaklah..

So, from the picture you can see lah my taste kan? I prefer cute and comel-comel dress for my reception. But not the one which is too heavy like balloon style. I just want as simple as in the picture lah.. but of course I think the price for both of the dress reach 2k kot. Anndd, I don't want lah to make it soo expensive like that. So, basically I am in the middle of searching for a tailor whiich can sew this kind of dress with the price below RM600 for workmanship, because I always love choosing the materials myself. The materials might cost me around RM350, and nanti if I want to add beading and stuff assume that the cost if I ask my aunty would be around RM200. Total up everything, if around 1k I think i still can smile laa if the quality of the sewing and beading semua satisying la... hehehe. (too many lah laaa!!)

So, I will keep on browsing through ipad, my samsung note and laptop for this few days just to get my dream wedding reception dress with the budget I have. InshaAllah, I will update you all later if ada perkembangan.

Bridzella note 1 : I dreamt of Kamil asking for my permission to marry another girl right after our akad, when the wali, saksi and tetamu still there. The effect of sleeping after Asar i guess. 

Done with two most important head things in my life

It is quite late now, even though i feel sleepy but that doesn't stop me from being happy. I officially finished with my engagement shawls DIY in which it isss wayyy too simple for some people perhaps, but it made me happy. The baju for my engagement not ready yet still ada dekat my tailor (Ya Allah, harap - harap secantik yang I imagine !) hoping that when the baju is ready the shawl i diy-ed match perfectly. Anddd alsoo, with the sudden changes in my mind for my solemnization dress, instead of using full pure chiffon as the material I already changed to white prada lace for the baju and the kain still using chiffon. So, I have basically 6 patches lace which cost me RM 15 each - which I felt not worth it, end up I use all my patches lace for my solemnization veil DIY too ! To match with kamil samping. Later, when I finally showed my diy veil to someone and they agree saying that it is pretty I'll share how much the cost and how to do it ya ! 

On the other hands, we went to Semua House Jalan TAR last weekend and managed to cut off few list also ! Alhamdulillah... 

SORRY THAT I SPEAK MY MIND

At the age of 25 I am now, I started to realize how important my family is. And, finding one man that can be your lover cum best friend and also your savior is as vital as finding the right beliefs in life. Do i need more people that really involve in my life? Do i need a group of best friends that help me choosing which tee should I buy from the shopping complex just for the sake of making decision which is accepted by them? Do I need to hang around every week with few girls gossiping about others and latest fashion which I can't afford to just for the sake of to fit in the society? Do i really need to live with people whom their opinions are really important for me to listen (according to them) and whilst mine is just piece of sh**? If you ask me 5 years ago, my answer would be YES, YES, and YES ! But, realizing and through an iota ounce of my experience I totally believe now that I don't have to do that anymore. Hence my answer would NO, NO and NO.  

I might be harsh, I might be too direct with my words but then again, when you do something wrong just right in front of me or you do something that irritates me and beloved ones, I would loveee to tell you off! That's me. I'm sorry that I speak my mind but then again, I believe what's wrong is wrong. Still there are times where I think of this kind of stuff (dealing with people, friendship and etc) I would blame myself for not being patient enough with this kind of people, maybe I should hold on a little bit and perhaps things won't go that far in which I don't have to tell them off and they won't be offended by me. But then again, I believe I should have told them, because I care for them. And, if not me someone else's will. So its okay, given the character as a garang and jahat as they said - as long as I am not creating stories or drama or badmouthing behind their back. I am just telling them what they did is wrong. 

There are times i feel lonely, but come to think of it I have enough friends at my work place even we're not that close, I have few housemates which I can exchange my ideas with, I have Kamil who will always listen to my stories, problems and most importantly I have my precious family which will never leave me alone. 

Having to deal with people especially girls/women it is the most difficult thing EVER in the world. You do nice things that benefited them sure they'll love you ! But when you do nice things that don't give them anything, they started drama. They call you fake, they try to find your weaknesses, they badmouthing on you and you fight ! The more you talk to a girl/woman the more dangerous you'll face in future. 

So, I after several brainstorming I made by myself and listening to my mom and sister advise, I believe I am no longer in the state of having to please anyone except for people that really matter. But, that doesn't mean I will start being kurang ajar to everyone, NO. I am going to be as fair as possible and not getting attached too much over a cheap friendship people offer me. I am better this way and that saves my feelings too !

Well, Hello !

Salam Jumaat everyone, and the title has nothing to do with what am I going to share actually. Last night, went to one of this wedding shop somewhere around Tambun, planning on getting some beads for my simple and humble engagement shawl which I'm going to do it all by myself, we managed to bought some of our doorgifts stuff. 

While walking around Kamil was quite busy looking at those paper bags things which are on sale RM1.80/10 pcs and that was farrrr below my budgettt which I like so much. It is not that fancy or cute cute looking paper bag, just a normal brownish rectangular and it is actually not that big but you can at least put a drinks and sweets/cookies, perhaps? After several light considerations between two no-experienced wedding planner (kamil and I) so we bought  400 pcs of paper bags in two colors purple and pink and also organza pouch for nikah's doorgift which we're going to put in Yassin/Buku Doa and Tasbih inside. In addition we also managed to bought in a metallic purple for 100 pcs too ! Whattt a nice combinationnnn of things we've got there, isn't it? I am a happy bride to be so far, Alhamdulillah

And, even though my engagement day is stilll far far ahead, in which in 230 days more but I am currently busy putting on my personal touch with all the beads and diamonds applique. Hopefully, throughout the journey towards 26 January 2014 Allah SWT makes everything goes smoothly and bearable for us, InshaAllah.

Now, I know how difficult it is to prepare for a perfect wedding ceremony. I always think of my wedding preparations up to the point I dreamt on choosing my wedding card last night XD However, after several discussions with Kamil and the family, we still have to wait for a while for the wedding card before we can order. The date for his side reception still they can't decide because they want to have it during school holidays and I, on the other side don't to wait for too long.I'm afraid I lost the mood and vibe to wear and start wearing baju kahwin again after 3 -6 months of the real date. So right now, I continue with deciding on Doorgifts. Basically, I have to prepare for three types of doorgifts for my side which is

Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale

Just got back from my hometown last night. Arrived at KLIA around 10.30 pm and departed from there to Ipoh around 11.30 pm and finally touch down in my own rented room at 3.00 am. Soo tired yet I feel that I don't have enough time playing around with my three younger brothers -___- I miss them so much, now ! Anyway, my brother is finally someone's husband. The solemnization and receptions at both sides are done and we can finally breath normally.

But, for me I have to be moree serious and focus with my own wedding preparation. We were able to settle 50% deposit for our wedding hall last few days and it really took the most partition of money we have for our wedding preparation, InshaAllah the outcome will be good. In addition, we finally managed to meet our tailor for our engagement outfits last week before we went back to Sandakan and also, managed to put in 50% deposit for both of our engagement outfits. I can say, the price is reasonable for special event like this but if its for normal or just other purposes than my very own wedding I'm not sure if I am going to pay the same price for a simple modern kurung.. hehehe. He also had the his baju melayu for engagement tailored at the same place with mine. We have to wait for three months before we can really see the real bajus.

Not only that, last week also I finally get myself 2 metre of Prada Lace which also is quite expensive to my liking, i refused to buy that at first. Even after the salesgirl gave us special discount price as she mentioned I still found it a bit pricey compared to the facebook seller i found, just that they don't have it in the colour i want. I, for the first time ever able to confront myself that I can find what I want (Prada Lace) within my budget which is RM 250 for 2 metres. Buttt then, seeing me just walk away maybe he felt kesian and said, "just take it baby" , then I said "No, its too pricey". He then told me that, "its okay, if that is what you like just grab it, I know you very well, you won't stop searching right? So instead of spending all our strengths and times within our busy and limited time, I think we can just get it here."  Hehehe.. he knows me veryy well. What he said is true, im going to search until i get it so instead of having to search to Shah Alam, Facebook and online blogshop which the quality or similarities with the pictures they showed can't be guaranteed, I'd better get it there, at that time. So, we settle for that so far.

Engagement Dress 101

Our wedding, is actually still far ahead. But being me which is very details and "almost-perfectionist" I want everything to be settled as soon as possible. I want at least 2-3 months prior to the wedding everything settled already, because I am the kind of person which is willing to have sleepless nights in order to make things done. Yeah, you know when I have lack of sleep and rest my skin breakouts and my mood swings. That's why I want everything to be settled the latest by November . Hence, we've been quite busy nowadays just to get our wedding preparations stuffs.

Annd, to make things worse I don't like something which is too common. In which, common things are acceptable for me, but not for too common things. For example wedding cards, wedding dress and etc. I want my wedding resembles me and Kamil. However, having Kamil as my future husband, we have slightly a little differences in this kind of things. In which, he don't mind of whatever baju and cards we are having as long as we follow all the wajib things according to Islam. I know, how good he is because he don't want we have problems with anything and he don't want to change the wedding date again because of this and that. In other words, he just want to get married with me regardless of the other things. For him, as long as the wedding is between me and him, he is happy enough.

Thattt doesn't make me satisfy actually. I know I sound soo teruk because tak bersyukur and all. Butt, you know as girls, we always plan our wedding dreams since what?? 5 years old? 3 years old? Soo, i really wanttt this time around I am able to get things done my way. I just wish Kamil understand this.....  We had small fight last night because I finally made up my mind on the design for my engagement dress afterrr having the kain bought for few months. But then, the cost of the kain including laces, lining and the chiffon itself is around RM 150.00 and when I asked this person how much the cost for sewing and patching will be and she said its around RM 370.00, in which for me is OKAY. I saw this person works and most of the clients are satisfied, so yeah getting good services at that price for me is OKAY lah. After that, I told Kamil and he's quite shocked and said that would be too much for a baju that would be worn only for a few hours of one night. Because, our engagement is actually just three days prior to the wedding. When he said that, I straight away diam and not replying to him at all until i fell asleep. I am sad.

But, waking up this morning i started reorganizing things in my head in which I come up with few back up plans

- Try bring the materials to Monday Fashion (Ipoh wedding tailor recommended by Jakel people)

(Plan C)
-    Since I will be back to my hometown this weekend, I'll bring all the materials if Monday Fashion cost
      of tailoring still considered expensive. Because i know from one of my cousin there this tailor at my
      hometown which have a really nice sewing works.

InshaAllah, I am okay now. InshaAllah... Ya Allah, please make me more redha in everything you've planned for me. Amin ya rabbal alamin. And, surprisingly as i typing up this post my heart becomes more calm :)

Not a kid anymore

I should be sleeping by now, it's 12.45 am and I need to wake up as early as 5.30 am tomorrow morning because I have to work somewhere far away from my home, I have to go outstation actually!  Suddenly i realize how long it has been since I left my secondary school just by looking at my friends' pictures on facebook. Everyone is busy growing up I can see, and so do I.

While busy growing up, I really miss how naughty and playful I was when I was in my secondary school.... ahhh, that was the best moment ever isn't it? You don't have to think of waking up every morning for work and just go to school and meet your friends. I can see 50% of my high school classmates are married within these 1-2 years, and InshaAllah my time will come soon. Early next year to be exact and by having my wedding date fixed already I know I am a kid no more. No more playing around, I mean I can't just think of having fun and getting whatever I want so easily like I used to be before. I should be more responsible towards my life, my family, my work, my partner and also the life undertaking.

Anyway, I wish all the best for me, all the best with growing up. May you not sunk like some people did. I really wish me luck, xx
